Psalm 96:2–3 (ESV) … “Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!”
Over and over the Bible exhorts us to praise the Lord always. We should thank him for so very much. We thank God for his creation and for giving us life. However, our thanks are to go much further, we thank Him for being our God and specifically being our “saving God.”
As children of God we should live every day with the purpose and intent to declare the glory of God among the nations of this world. We are to declare his most marvelous works among His people. Chief among our new song of thanks, is the good news of Jesus Christ, for He is the only Savior and has promised to save all who trust in Him. (John 14:6; John 4:22: Acts 4:12; Romans 10:1-15)
